OPEN DOOR AND NON-RETALIATION POLICY

The University acknowledges the importance of establishing wide channels of communication. If you have questions, concerns, or complaints, or if you wish to talk about a particular situation, please feel free to contact any member of the administration.

AUC expressly prohibits and will not tolerate any act of retaliation against an employee for having reported, or attempting to report, adverse situations with respect to employment terms, conditions, or opportunities, regardless of whether these reports are against him or her or against any other employee. AUC prohibits and will not tolerate or endorse acts of retaliation on the part of its supervisors, officers, and other staff members. Any employee of the University who incurs in acts of retaliation will be sanctioned with applicable disciplinary measures, up to and including termination.
